Andrew is a critical social scientist, seasoned HR executive, and founder of the Institute for Leadership Action. With senior roles at Eskom, MTN, Transnet, Liberty, and others, he has led in organisational effectiveness, HR strategy, leadership development, and change management. He advises corporates, SOEs, and African and BRICS utilities on leadership best practices.

Currently on the UKZN Council and a DPSA Ministerial Task Team member, Andrew is a former president of the Society for IOP of South Africa and has received multiple honours, including the Change Maker Award (2022) and SABPP Lifetime Achievement Award (2014). An organisational psychologist with a PhD, he lectures part-time and draws on his early theological training as a Dominican friar. He is co-editor of Leadership: Perspectives from the Frontline, a landmark 1,000-page work.
